About this deal

I’ve had it on trial this year: it has the same neat and bushy habit, and early flowering, as ‘Lemonade’, the plants have made about 50cm and they’ve bushed out well. Stake and tie if necessary during the growing season, water regularly and dead-head to prolong the flowering season.

We hold a reputation for introducing more plant varieties to the British gardening public than any other seed company. Place the seed tray in a propagator at a temperature of 18-25C (64-77F) or seal it inside a polythene bag.Dobies strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. Sow Cosmos seed from March to May at a depth of 3mm (1/8″) in a good quality seed compost, and cover the seeds with a very fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Stake and tie cosmos plants if necessary during the growing season, water regularly and dead-head to prolong the flowering season. Easy to grow , I did start them off indoors under a plastic cover , then planted out once hardened off a few weeks later. Standing at a height of 50 to 70 centimeters, this cosmos variety is more compact compared to others, making it a versatile choice for various garden spaces. I'm extremely disappointed because while the seeds had a fabulous germination rate- now they've bloomed the colour is 'Gloria' and not Apricot Lemonade as stated.Gorgeous Cosmos with burnished apricot and peach petals with raspberry pink centres, edged with the same pink.

Individual blooms don’t last long in the vase, about 4-6 days, but each stem is loaded with multiple blossoms that open over a period of a week. It’ll encourage these beauties to grow nice and bushy, ensuring a breathtaking display of vibrant flowers. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.
