Director Pierre Perifel, producer Damon Ross and composer Daniel Pemberton recorded backup vocals on Brand New Day. This also makes it the first DreamWorks Animation film to have opening music play over a distributor's logo since Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas with DreamWorks Pictures.
