While many of the levels in Modern Warfare 2 need to be scripted to follow along with the story, I felt as if I had less agency overall throughout the campaign. Hard to say crafting makes an appearance "roughly halfway" into the campaign when I'm pretty sure it shows up in mission 13.

The 2022 release is a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare and it features a nostalgic campaign alongside a plethora of multiplayer modes for players to dig their teeth into.As a result, every match feels like it has lots going on, with very little downtime where you'd have to sprint to the action for a few seconds. Other than the opening mission on the tanker and the last couple missions I struggle to remember anything else from it. I do have to touch on one of the biggest and most unexpected issues I encountered during my playthrough. You’ve probably seen that video of the Amsterdam level and yes, it’s stupendously good-looking, but there’s breathtaking scenery throughout the campaign.

It’s supposed to be a showreel smorgasbord of the kind of action movie you find being snaffled up by Prime Video. If anything, it's impressive (and almost unheard of) there isn't a single dud of a map or a new mode nobody's going to play past the first week.

In this guide, my aim is to show you some tweaks and changes you can do to enhance your performance and experience in MW 2 on a PS5.

Overall, I did enjoy Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer modes, even as someone who doesn’t regularly play FPS games.The team heads further into the bunker and finds Alex alive, though the missile warheads were stolen. However, PS5 and Series X deliver a good experience on a VRR screen - though gains on Series S over the 60Hz offering are marginal.
