Defining the centre of Oxford is the rotunda building known as The Radcliffe Camera, this was designed by James Gibb in the middle of the 18th century. This is a beautiful building thought to have been modelled on The Tower of the Winds in Athens. It is not open to the public, but the 16 sided ground floor room is used as a reading room for the Bodleian Library. Starring Shaun Evans as a young Endeavour Morse and Roger Allam as DCI Fred Thursday, it started in 2012 - and ends now, with teh screening of the final ever episode. Pride 2022 was also extra special in Oxford, as an in-person event had not been held for the past two summers due to the coronavirus pandemic. A virtual Pride took place on Saturday, 05 June 2021. These adverts enable local businesses to get in front of their target audience – the local community.

The church of St.Mary the Virgin is Oxford's most famous University church, this is mainly of the 15th century but has a 13th century tower and a magnificent ornate 14th century spire. While Morse has made his final appearance on the streets and quads of Oxford, the legacy of the saga remains, attracting many fans of the shows to the city.

Now it is boarded up with only the old signage remaining.
