About this deal
Featured on Phantom Gourmet that morning, I made a reservation but saw a spot at the bar, which was my preference as I wanted to watch the soccer game. I will return and have at least 2 more breakfast options and Peter and Mary's recommendation for non breakfast! Artisan cheeses, hard cured meats, seasonal fruit, fire roasted red peppers, honey, house-made crostini Located in the heart of Assembly Row (Somerville, MA) minutes from downtown Boston, the restaurant boasts a vibrant atmosphere with floor to ceiling windows, two extensive bars, a raw bar, private small dining area, and outdoor covered patio pavilion with full-service. Hostess / Entry person seemed disinterested. Barely spoke. We were seated in best outside table available, which was appreciated.

This was my second time eating here. The starters are truly delicious! Amazing flavors! This time I tried the fire-grilled salmon. It was overcooked, the asparagus was undercooked, and neither was very flavorful. However the wait staff and manager were very kind and concerned and offered to get me a new meal, which I refused. Don’t believe in wasting a piece of fish. Did I say the food was fabulous? Each of us had terrific appetizers (tuna poke and baked brie), main course (halibut, lobster ravioli and fettuccini) and the creme brûlée was delicious. The food was fabulous! Our server paid attention to where we were in our dining timeline and approached us at the right time to ask if we needed anything else. Clearly she was well-trained and very observant - in addition to being personable and relaxed. Such a change from other places where servers have been overwhelmed because they are understaffed.Field greens, watermelon radish, tomato, cucumber, shaved parmesan, toasted pepitas, balsamic vinaigrette

Rum-haven coconut, pineapple juice, passion fruit liqueur, orgeat (contains almond extract), lime juice The indoor dining was noisy for me so I opted to sit outside. The outside dining is enclosed by a translucent shelter so even on this cooler evening it was comfortable, pleasant Salt + Stone is the first independent restaurant from restaurateurs Sean and Sue Olson. Beautiful sunny day - decided to reserve the Patio at this first-time visit to this restaurant. Patio was actually an enclosed in plastic area, with one side open to air.
