Their high school life spans 15 episodes which means if you don’t enjoy high school romances, this would not be as engaging. It is different from Forever Love which has a much shorter school life arc and a more matured couple. Although they start dating at a late stage, their growing feelings for each other is already obvious by Episode 11. the FL did an excellent job in expressing a desk-mate who gradually falls in love with someone who she never thought she would and thinks he doens't reciprocate her feelings. she portrayed a girl chasing her love in a charming way and we can't help but root for this cute couple pairing. eps seem too short for the first time! "Our Secret" is a drama with a good plot, lovable characters and excellent acting. the actors in this drama aren't that famous (edit: this was before hidden love) but their acting is really good; definitely how a high schooler would behave, in my opinion. it's fast paced with little or no filler scenes so overall it was a good watch. it felt so nostalgic (even tho I haven't finished my high school yet). The good parts of their relationship are that they learn from each other. Ding Xian seems to be the one who sacrificed everything to be together with Zhou Si Yue. She repeated her 3rd year just to enter the same university. Our Secret is a type of youth drama that would bring you down memory lane. It emits a nostalgic feeling if you have left school because of the realistic portrayal of a student’s life. High school and campus romances tend to be a bore because of the repetitive storylines. But this one is a rare exception because the way the story is told will draw you in to follow the couple’s progress and growing up pains. There is no exaggeration to take away the seemingly ordinary life of the protagonists. This is what gives the drama a healthy dose of realism. I really like this drama. Our Secret was heartwarming and reminded me of my high school years. With only 24 episodes, the drama doesn’t get bogged down with unnecessary details and long-winded subplots of all the issues mentioned above. Hence, the story is easy to follow. It is akin to the daily life of a high school student who develops feelings for the boy sitting next to her and vice-versa. Great Acting Besides the storyline, there was a thing that I liked about Our Secret. The chemistry between our main leads and the supporting actors was good. I like to see the interaction between Zhou Si Yue and Song Zi Qi. They were so natural. Moreover, I found that Chen Zhe Yuan and Xu Meng Jie’s acting and chemistry were also good. I adored them when they were in high school. They were soooo sweet…😍 Rewatch and rewatch Never expected this drama to be so good. Everybody has such good chemistry and the plot is so good. Bear in mind that this is a school/youth genre, so don't expect too much crazy plot twists or strong villains.How the entire drama really focus on the character development in all the characters, lead characters and supporting characters alike. The dream high school experience. When watching this, I can't help but feel envious of their high school experience. Ding Xian is an obedient child. She took her mother’s words seriously and really cared for her father. Our Secret is a Chinese romance drama, released in 2021. The story was focusing on Ding Xian’s life, and the conflicts around her. Yes, Senior Su is also in love with Ding Xian. The rival for her affection only intensifies around Episode 18 onwards. Ding Xian did not give Senior Su any indication that she is interested in him although he keeps appearing by her side. He confesses his feelings to her in Episode 21 but gets rejected outright. She also feels that they are no longer the same type of people as he has put profits ahead of principles. In the last episode, Senior Su tells Si Yue that he will be going abroad and may not make it to their wedding. He also tells Si Yue to treat Ding Xian well. The Side Couples
