About this deal

As a relatively high-value box of miniatures, there are some serious savings to be snapped up with the Aeldari Boarding Patrol box. This box arrives in April, and it’s not the only Combat Patrol coming your way. Before the Aeldari get their turn, the Thousand Sons and Grey Knights are taking to the field with boxes of their own, both of which will be here in March. Every Ork player always needs more boyz, and this gives you just that, plus the new Snikrot model too. This is also delayed in Japan.

Regardless, it’s great to see exclusive sculpts discounted, albeit in box sets. Boarding Patrol: Death Guard – Value Sneak into the Arks of Omen and cause some big green havoc with Boss Snikrot and his boyz. Boarding Patrol: Orks is a musclebound collection of tough-as-nails fighters led by the legendary Kommando Boss sporting a brand new model. In addition to Snikrot, you’ll board with five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, and 10 Kommandos – who also drag along a reluctant Kommando Grot and far-too-enthusiastic Bomb Squig for the ride. Plenty of Boarding Patrol boxes are coming to join the fun – but the starfaring Aeldari are masters of sailing through the void, and their spiky cousins are no strangers to raiding stranded vessels and even space hulks. Boarding Patrol: Eldar This is quite the sweet deal if you want to listen to podcasts or books! Especially if you’re traveling, this is perfect for helping pass the time. Here’s everything you get even at the cheaper price: If you’ve been eyeing Grey Knights, this is full of great unit choices you can play in every game going forward. Boarding Patrol Necrons (Allocated 1 Per Store)

New Eldar & Drukhari Boarding Patrol Boxes: What’s the Value?

Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter. This box can be used to assemble a variety of units – the recommended build for Boarding Action games is 10 Necron Warriors, 10 Lychguard, three Ophydian Destroyers, and a Canoptek Plasmacyte. That’s 265 points right there. I’d also want another unit of Legionaries to up the “boots on the ground” count personally. That’s another 180 points, too. We need to leave room for Wargear and with those additions we’re at 1820 points. Maybe another 20 cultists or if you’re feeling extra spicy, drop 10 cultists and add in 5 more Terminators. That will give you a bit of wiggle room for wargear (although not by much — we’re talking 50 points).

The greatest strength of Combat Patrol: Aeldari is its flexibility. Assemble your infantry as Storm Guardians and give the Wraithlord a ghostglaive to punch right through fortified enemy lines, or muster a squad of Guardian Defenders with a mobile Heavy Weapons Platform to hold the ground claimed by your blistering bikers. The stars are awash with the sounds of violence – with the new additions in Arks of Omen: Angron and White Dwarf 485 , there are now a total of 27 Boarding Action missions to take you into the cold depths of space.* Plenty of Boarding Patrol boxes are coming to join the fun – but the starfaring Aeldari are masters of sailing through the void, and their spiky cousins are no strangers to raiding stranded vessels and even space hulks . Some people love the new-ish Voidscarred, so this might be a popular bundle option to get a bunch of the latest Eldar all at once. Boarding Patrol Drukhari (Allocated 2 Per Store) This is hard-hitting force includes three Crisis Battlesuits and a squad of 10 Fire Warriors, who are perfectly suited for close-quarters combat when assembled as a Breacher Team. The battlesuits have numerous short-ranged weapon options, which offer great utility against many different enemy types in tight spaces. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this army to a brand new player. I’m not going to lie: this list is going to be fighting an uphill battle. Until you get the hang of positioning and how to really dissect an opponent’s army it’s gonna be rough. But it’s thematic and rewarding to play! If you’re up for a challenge then have at it!

New Boarding Patrol Boxes Announced For Eldar & Drukhari

If you’ve been eyeing Grey Knights, this is full of great unit choices you can play in every game going forward. Boarding Patrol: Necrons An inspiring showcase of photography and battle scenes, featuring the armies fighting on Arthas Moloch

If the Wraithlord can tank as well as I’m hoping then you’ve got a very well rounded box. The Verdict? The Wych Cults of Comorragh, meanwhile, are masterful marauders, despatching raiding parties to hunt down prisoners for the fighting pits, victims to render into gruesome stimulants, or slaves to pay off their shiny new razorflail. Now, let’s have a look at how much the individual components in these boxes are worth were you to buy them seperately.Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing. I don’t know if this would be a super effective army to be clear — but you’ve got some hammer units with the Terminators, Possessed, the Daemon Prince, and Abaddon. The Heldrake can cause problems. Plus you’ve got some boots for objective holding. It’s a start and needs to be refined for your playstyle but it can work. Fire Warriors, which can be built as either a Strike Team or a Breacher Team, plus 1x Support Turret Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Death Guard – Price Value & Savings Summary A squad of six Windrider jetbikes* gives you plenty of speed to zoom around the board. Combined with Craftworld Saim-Hann’s bike-buffing sensibilities , these agile Aeldari can reach just about anywhere you need them from turn 1. That’s not to say they’re all whoosh and no wallop – their bikes carry plenty of upgraded shuriken weaponry for shredding any foe foolish enough to get in the way.
