About this deal

Noelle is such a wonderful MC, she’s so strong and even after everything she’s been through she is such a kind and giving soul, she is the human embodiment of sunshine to me, even on the darker days she’s still there trying to fight for those she loves.

You, with a View is angsty, atmospheric perfection. While navigating grief’s pain as well as its transformative power, this road trip romance is an unforgettable journey of tenderhearted healing, scorching chemistry, and divinely witty banter.” —Chloe Liese, author of Two Wrongs Make a Right Noelle decides to post the pictures to TikTok and launches a viral search for the mysterious man. She soon finds out his name is Paul, and he’s still alive and willing to meet her, except there’s one huge problem: he’s the grandfather of Noelle’s high school rival, Theo Spencer. Hello! Now that this book is making its way into the world, I wanted to take a moment to list out the content considerations so that you can take care of yourself either before or as you read You, with a View: What would you do, if you found a love letter and photos in your beloved and recently deceased grandmother's things, which wasn't from your grandfather? You, with a View was essentially a romance, with sexy tension and longing (plus a few open door scenes). But it was also about grief and healing, family, found family and making mistakes in your twenties. It was both wholesome and heartwarming. Gosh I adored the grandparents in this, which made me miss my grandpa, who has been gone for over 20 years (hug yours if you still have them!) Matchmaking Paul was a favourite 😍 This book is also a big f**k you to those negative bosses/mentors who get inside your head and make you feel worthless for years. Down with them! I know I had one. Also down with family, if they make you feel like you're never enough!

The conflict was resolved maturely and rationally. I LOVED the relationship between Noelle and Paul 🥹

This book broke my heart and made me well up, but it also made me smile, and left my heart full, soaring like a bird! It was emotional, but also Noelle and Theo 💗The way they fell in love. The way they supported each other. They way they were brave. Their secrets, and their truths. Oh and I love it when love interests call each other by their surnames ha ha! I love so much about it, but my favorite thing is the inherent comfort people find in the genre. Every book is different, but you know the foundation is that people are going to fall in love, and you can let down your guard because the end result—the HEA—is guaranteed. And it’s not just that they’re going to fall in love, it’s that they’re going to be seen for exactly who they are, accepted for that, loved for it. There’s something so absolutely and radically beautiful about that, especially in a world that feels more and more intolerant and dystopian by the day.

During your commute: If you take public transportation or have a long commute, you may find it helpful to use that time to read. The way that she writes slots into my head like Tetris, every sentence flows, the characters are undeniably fleshed out, with the story being the icing on the cake ❤️ Tell me a secret, I hear Gram whisper to me, and my heart stretches in memory. I blink up at the sky, wondering where she is. Someone’s going to tell me one of yours.” Wow it’s been a long 3 months but then YWAV comes along reminding me EXACTLY what a 5⭐️ read should look like.

why are you calling me? Couldn’t you just text whatever you need to say? What kind of millennial are you? We’re supposed to be afraid of calling people.” You, With a View is a beautiful book made up of all the quintessential summer vibes. This HS enemies to lovers, forced to road trip together in search of a missed romance and a connection to the past, was at times laugh out loud funny, at other times quite sad, but heartwarming and utterly charming throughout. An idea for a story. I really enjoyed it and I was invested more in the story about their grandparents than in the romance. In the first half of the book, I even thought I would give it a strong 4 stars rating, but of course that didn't happen because the rest of the book completely changed my mind about it. Many thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for sharing this wonderful book's digital review copy in exchange for my honest opinions.

The vibes were super hot and the language was a mix of explicit and flowery. They got to the edge of some cliffs and just to the ✨edge✨ many many times. (And I edged this book for months so I know a thing or two about edging if I do say so myself 😌) I do wish the end had wrapped up a little faster, but that’s purely because I love the HEA trope, I felt that it was coming and couldn’t wait to see it. I also really wish this had been multiple POV, I would have loved to see Theo’s POV or maybe even a chapter from Paul. Like I said, it could be me, but if the romance goes in the direction that a man doing a TikTok for you is a romantic gesture, then I think I'm going fantasy full time. An adventurous road trip with spectacular sights, poignant love letters from the past telling a heart-wrenching story between a beloved grandmother and her first love, and a brilliant and entertaining combination of enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, and sunshine-meets-grump tropes – this book is everything I want!
