Use non-antibiotic antimicrobials (such as benzoyl peroxide or azelaic acid) to avoid development of resistance to erythromycin or clindamycin. Do not dispose Aveeno via household or water waste. Take any unwanted or expired medicines to your local pharmacy and ask them to dispose of them safely on your behalf. These measures can help to protect the environment.
