at the roots of the mountains. I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God. I descended to the roots of the mountains. The earth with its bars was around me forever, But You have brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet have you brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.Favor me, O YHWH, | See my affliction by those hating me, | You who lift me up from the gates of death, To the cuttings of mountains I have come down, | The earth, her bars [are] behind me for all time. And You bring my life up from the pit, O YHWH my God. For one who is without faith, so long as he is in good health and comfortable circumstances, the fear of his own death hardly ever occurs to him as a matter of great and terrible significance. Yet such a person cannot escape the growing conviction through advancing years that death is for him the ultimate end beyond which nothingness lies. He must come to conclude in time that at the end he will become stiff, lifeless, cold … decay, decompose, and stink…. The deep promises contained in love, goodness, and beauty would be a lie. Earthly life would indeed be ‘a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.’ We can choose such a horrible death, of course; but who would want to choose it, and why? She has lived in the Republic of Ireland for over a decade and worked as a Social Care Worker after qualifying with an honours degree in Applied Social Studies. Presently, she is testifying to the power of God all over the world as a life coach in the area of healing and health. She has granted numerous interviews as she testifies to the glory of God.

Be gracious to me, LORD; see how my foes afflict me! You alone can raise me from the gates of death. I sank to the foundations of the mountains, the earth’s gates shut behind me forever! Then you raised my life from the Pit, LORD my God! Be gracious to me, O LORD; Behold my affliction from those who hate me, Thou who dost lift me up from the gates of death; Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom… Since Adam and Eve the end point of our existence has always been heaven or hell. Death was the great punishment for the original sin. Before that sin there was no need to be anxious about death. Our knowledge of that punishment, however, now induces us to take our end more seriously. As Hildebrand puts it: “Death now sorts out what really matters. Now what matters is how we have lived our earthly life. What have we done here? What have we failed to do? The worthless things, of course, which appealed to us because of some pleasant feature, now sink into insignificance.” Death then, is not just a punishment but a gift. As Death approaches we are awakened (awakening is the gift) to the seriousness with which God regards us after all the years and all the sins we have committed. God’s final embrace is not a certainty, and so we are given by a loving God the final chance to re-examine our lives and contritely prepare ourselves for final judgment. The enormity of the moment of dying is not to be taken lightly. Even many an atheist has, at the hour of his death, learned to choose hope over despair.PT-32 was under the command of Lieutenant (j.g.) Vincent Schumacher, and just before dawn he spotted a “strange, unidentified craft” to his rear. He cleared for action and seriously considered launching his torpedoes and opening up with his .50-caliber machine guns. At the last minute Schumacher decided to make a run for it instead, and 20 spare drums of gasoline were tossed over the side to make the boat lighter. Have pity on me, O LORD. Look at what I suffer because of those who hate me. You take me away from the gates of death

But You raised my life from the pit, O LORD my God! views of the publisher, and the publisher hereby disclaims any responsibility for them. Appreciation
