About this deal

It’s my wife in another man’s arms, it’s her skin feeling his touch, it’s her conversation and intelligence being shared. What would you have talked about?”

He never intended to fall in love with her but he just could not help himself. But she has built up walls around herself to shut him out even though he believes their souls are welded together. Secondly, Aubrey and Jax’s struggle toward reconciling/a relationship was very repetitive. I felt like Aubrey’s internal dialogue was recycled too much and Jax kept saying the same thing over and over again – she was his, they were inevitable. It got a bit annoying after a while, especially since the ‘big dealbreaker’ could have been avoided if he just told her what he was doing (I still don’t understand why he had to wait to tell her – was it just for a big grand gesture?).Here’s the thing: I hate books with twins. I didn’t know that there would be twins when I started reading this so I tried to push past it (I promise I really did). Like usual with twins in books, there’s secrets, competitive (ish) attitudes, good-twin/bad-twin complexes, and all around a lot of hurt on both sides. I could have moved on past all of this. What I couldn’t move past was the MMC’s relationship with the twin. We were kids in love and I left. She’s moved on. So have I.. what’s the problem?” -I paraphrased this one

Victory Blakely dragged the sun out of hiding the very next week when she showed up at work with her crew. Love of a Queen: Violence, steamy sexual scenes, drinking, mentions of sexual abuse of a minor (does not go into graphic detail) Little did Jax and his brothers know, Aubrey lives in a household plagued by abuse. Her father has a tight grip on everything in her and her mother's lives. He's verbally, emotionally, physically, and financially abusive. Aubrey goes to great lengths to avoid giving him any reason to unleash his anger on her and her mother. She's not allowed to have friends, express herself through clothing or hobbies—her father controls every aspect of her existence. Now it's a LITTLE complicated because there's a guy named Steven which is the perfect match for VictoryShe vows that she is done with him and will never fall for him again. Jax had lost himself to her the day he had saved her. Aubrey Whitfield was to be nothing more than the younger sister of his best friend.

When she is not writing her novels she can usually be found spending time with Doc G her husband and their wild golden retriever Gray Gray. She has been known to drink too much coffee and eat a lot of candy. Between Commitment and Betrayal, a forced proximity, arranged marriage, sports romance, is the first installment of the Hardy Billionaire Brothers series. Let me begin by saying, there’s no doubt in my mind that this will be someone’s comfort series or favorite book. It just wasn't for me and that's okay. Jett is a guy that really loves the people he cares abut and he will do anything for the ones he loves and he is very protective, but he can be a tough nut too. I thought that he came over as abit if a jerk and I thought in my mind I was clear how ii felt about him, but he will change your mind once he opens up and lets you in.

OH MY GOSH. My emotions were literal all over the place with this. I honestly have never felt so many emotions reading a book. Love. Anger. Hurt. Steamy. Sadness. All of it. I can’t even describe it to you without giving it away. When she is not spending time with friends and family or writing, she usually loves to call people just to talk. If she cannot find someone to swap stories with on the phone she can be found watching trashy shows on TV or reading romances. So, Victory Blakely, turns out you're the Phantom behind the mask and I've been the one living in Neverland.” Jay and Aubrey are friends and have been for a long time. Aubrey’s mom is Native American and her dad beats his wife and daughter behind closed doors.

Aubrey Whitfield, or Brey as her friends call her, has grown up in a abusive house. Her father expect her and her mother to make sure the world saw nothing but a perfect family. So in front of her father Aubrey is nothing less than perfect. he did everything so he could get her her revenge on her dad but did anyone ask her what she wanted? No… maybe she just wanted to be done with him….. after living an abusive life with him. She is living her life with happiness and in colors. She want that the people see all the colors and the beauty of the life, the surroundings. women are not so weak that they fall whenever a guy says “I was with them but I wanted you”… what BS 💩 Brey was a strong female lead. After going what she went through growing up and loosing her mom, she still manages to finish college and stand up for herself and more importantly become herself.Between Commitment and Betrayal: Steamy sexual scenes, drinking, violence, mentions of sexual assault I’m treating you like my wife. And if your boyfriend puts his hands on you, he better know I’m breaking them.” Some parts were fun and cute. But I barely saw any of that when the whole plot of the book was surrounded by OWD and OMD.
