Bright Neroli would be suitable for both men and women in my opinion. This isn’t too feminine on me (I’m a guy btw) and it wouldn’t bother me to smell this on a lady as well. Both genders can pull this off easily. BN is also a powerhouse in longevity as well. I get about 8 hours from it which I think is amazing coming from a citrusy floral summer scent.

I thought most "car company" fragrances were just cheap cash grabs. This one seems like it had a bit of thought behind it, and if you said it was designer I would believe you. Goes to show that it's the fragrance that matters, not who makes it. Very right, Mr. Jeheimrat. Rosemary is on the tip, and it's a vawandta from the old lavender. So wat Hellet, Floralet, how dit for een Oh de Koloohndsch jehört. Scent: Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte is a very bright and fresh neroli fragrance. The opening is fresh and fruity with a slightly sweet touch coming from the orange and neroli. This creates a very bright and fresh opening, which sets the theme for the rest of the fragrance. When this fragrance starts to dry down, it goes in a more green and herbal direction. Still, a fantastic scent with a green touch. Truly amazing. Other notes that are missing are amber, patchouli and vetiver. Yes! You've read that right. Those are all the base notes. Include the missing neroli, and that adds-up to four of the ten ingredients absent. Taking a break from it, the intense dry citrus of neroli still passes me by.SIMILAR: These are fragrances in the same genre. Mass appealing in a very good, tasteful way, like smart humor kind of way. Appealing like how Costco sells otherwise obscure and up-market products in a format that most people can access to enjoy. The base notes are amberwood and white musk.

Scent: Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Colonia is a fantastic fragrance with a fresh and aromatic scent. This fragrance opens with a bright scent of citruses, supported by an aquatic undertone. A little while after the opening, some floral notes make themselves known, one of them being lavender. The lavender is responsible for the aromatic scent, giving the fragrance a clean vibe. In the dry down, a nice hint of ambroxan is added, leaving you with a slightly warmer, cleaner version of the fragrance. Floral, citrus-y, woody, spicy, earthy, fresh, sweet, juicy, soapy, without ever being too much of any or any standing out. The white florals are not overly feminine nor churchy. Though, the vetiver makes it sit over the masculine side of unisex. The citruses are mouthwateringly juicy. I don't know if the leather cap is influencing me, but it does have a slight leathery ruggedness to it, both in smell and character.I got two colognes from Fragrance Split today. One was GIT,and it was spot on,and the other was this one, Bright Neroli. Initial blast was sunscreen-like but then the citron and bitter orange came out moments later. On my skin, the citron is dominant over the other citruses. Neroli and orange blossom are right behind with my skin highlighting the OB sweetness. The other notes support as a generally light, herbal nuance. As others have mentioned, this is perfect for hot weather and a steal at the price.

Whether you like it or not is going to be highly dependent on whether you like neroli, because that's definitely the star of the show here. Sad to say it, but I am afraid to even give Bright Neroli away.I will though.It might work for someone else,just not me. Especially neroli/white floral.You have to have confidence to be able to wear this as a dude because although it is listed as a unisex fragrance it is definitely veering towards the feminine side... which makes sense since the #1 note this fragrance is trying to emulate is Neroli (a flower) and most people relate flowers to women. That said ,when I sprayed Bright Neroli on it was OK. The name is what it is.I thought to myself, wow, I should get a bottle of this,especially what Bright Neroli is selling for. Then it started to change .All this began about 10 minutes in.About 15 minutes past and I said,no,I'll pass on this one,for it's getting into the overly synthetic side of colognes.20 minutes and I was getting pissed.My thought was this stuff is starting to stink.One hour latter and I was trying to wash it off. This is a "Love" for me. I remember a time when I hated light scents like this and Neroli Portofino was just a "Like" for me. Times change and people change even more, but this scent is a classic and will never go out of style. You won't find anyone who is offended by this scent.

Bright Neroli works for a very heavy work friendly environment and summer in casual day settings, even in a gym (though at the pricing, I don't suggest it). This is once again due to its performance which is slight. I get five hours out of it but it is actually has some nice and slight projection for an hour/hour and a half. Bergamot and watery notes are the top notes of Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Colonia. Orange flower, lavender, and clary sage make up the middle notes. Vetiver, tonka bean, and ambroxan are the foundation notes. Scent: Jo Malone Basil And Neroli is a very simple and clean neroli fragrance. The scent is based around neroli and basil, giving it both a fresh, fruity scent and a green, slightly herbal scent. This combination makes for a fantastic scent. The rest of this fragrance is built around these two notes, giving the spotlight to the basil and neroli. However, the overall picture is what makes this fragrance so amazing. A clean, simple, fresh, and green fragrance.

And lastly, as far as a "fragrance being worth the hype" that is not a decision that can be made by you or any other reviewer. It can only be made by the person that owns the fragrance. Some people will find it's worth the hype, and others will say it's not even close to the hype. Fragrances are very subjective. Since Neroli is still being stirred into the water, it is not different from the oil from the blossom of the bombs. So even so, citrus, if you wish. Dit is like being in an open convertible ... and for to the Italian Adriatic coast long ...
