The characters in this comic seemed a lot more mature to me than the ones in Smile, so I was surprised to find that they were mostly just 7th and 8th graders. If you're going to read this book, I hope you rate it because you liked (or disliked) the story and not because it contains "the gay. My daughter checked this one out and then told after she read it that there were some things in it that made her feel uncomfortable and that one of the characters is gay.
