Actually, speaking as an adult, it's much easier to see what a complete and utter piece of shit the father is, too. There are only two choices left to Rose: frame Ruby for murder and have her locked away in Borstal, or just up and kill her.This book was very interesting to read even though i read it in primary i still enjoy the book i think it was a funny and interesting book i had lots of fun reading this and i would recommend to everyone it was a brilliant book i love it. It still had some appeal, mostly because it tells about twins and some of the thinks did apply very well to me and my sister as well. Near summer, Ruby, realizing that the school where the TV movie is being filmed at is a prestigious boarding school for girls, Marnock Heights, decides that the pair ought to sign up for scholarships- of which there is only one. The twins send a letter to A headteacher from a boarding school however only one of them gets to go. If you weren't already in awe of his selfishness, he even manages to dump his mother-in-law - who spent the last three years raising his kids for him - into sheltered accommodation.

I really loved the portrayal of the twins, the fact that their personalities were completely different from one another, but they still . The book takes the form of the twins alternately narrating the story of their life in an accounts book.The twins have their own secret language, and they don't like to make friends at school because they have each other. I feel as though Wilson books are a must in the lives of young children, a way of opening their eyes to the real world in the right way. But when Dad finds a new girlfriend everything in the twins’ lives is turned upside down–new home, new school, new everything. If the twins become TV actors, they'll spend a good chunk of the summer holidays away filming, which will act as a temporary measure until she figures out how to get rid of them permanently.
