Glorious CORE can also be used to map shortcuts and macros on your keys, increasing and fine-tuning the functionality of the Gloroius GMMK 2 to suit your needs. The GMMK 2 (the prebuilt version at least; you can also get a barebones version) features Glorious’ new Fox linear switches. There's plenty of room inside for good airflow around components therefore I haven't felt the need to add to the two included case fans as the case design allows for good passive airflow. That said, you can also purchase a barebones version of the GLORIOUS and choose from more switch options to purchase separately and install yourself.
Since they were one of the first to offer an ultra-light gaming mouse with RGB lighting, they have only continued to take the gaming industry by storm. The GLORIOUS GMMK 2 comes in a 96% full-size layout, meaning it has a row of dedicated function keys, a navigation cluster, and a Numpad, but the space between the sections of the keyboard is smaller to provide a more compact size. Great quality keyboard with lots of customization options to make it feel/sound and look exactly how you want it. Although there's no physical volume roller or knob like on other enthusiast keyboards, you can control media playback and volume control directly by holding the function key and pressing the media keys.Although the keycaps are textured ABS rather than PBT, they're doubleshot and feel much higher quality than the ABS keycaps found on the previous version of this keyboard, the GLORIOUS GMMK. This profile creates a nearly flat top, with the keys all pretty much level yet sporting a cylindrical bow to meet the curve of your fingers. The GMMK 2 is the successor to the GMMK (so not the GMMK Pro; that’s a different product line altogether) and it takes aim at that very competitive mid tier market. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.
Glorious's products were built to meet the needs of both serious gamers who wanted more than anyone else had to offer and the beginner who is just looking for their first gaming mouse. I also changed the aluminum plate to a polycarbonate one and it really brings out the RGB so if you want brighter RBG switching the plate to an FR4/PC will help with that.The new logo is a lot more subtle and looks a lot less geeky/gimmicky than the previous bearded man.
Similar to the Apex Pro or Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro, you are able to customize the RGB backlighting of the GMMK 2 on an individual per-key basis.This bright yellow keycap makes a bold addition to the keyboard and is easily installed thanks to the hot-swapping technology and included keycap puller. The Ducky One 3 and the GLORIOUS GMMK 2 are both wired-only, hot-swappable mechanical keyboards that come in a variety of sizes and colorways.
