It's got a bunch of other very neat details, including a wizard's chamber, guard roomm, and captive's cell. It took my quite skilled six-year old brick builder a little over an hour to complete the project without any interference form my side. I also like the dual-coloured steps, very eye-catching and a huge improvement to monochromatic steps.

Next up will be the Royal Knights and we will definatly see that LEGO had yet to go downhill (though I have no idea what to do when I start getting into the early 2000s for my reviews as alot of the sets then are less than great). I like the concept of the villain’s lair being built on and into the mountain itself but the end product leaves a lot to be desired.The Princess has a lovely white dress with gold and light blue trimmings along with a tiara above her red hair. The resulting tower castle of modest height is quite pleasing and different from most castle structures we have. However I recently acquired it in a job lot I bought and after building it I was quite impressed with how amazing it truely is. We get 2 keys, which I assume are used to lock up princesses, 2 vials of magic potions and a very cool bone candle, no doubt used for whatever dark arts the Evil Wizard Practices. I’d really only recommend getting it if you really want the dragon, which is what I did so I was okay with dropping the cash for it.

You launch 2×2 round bricks into the air, which I’m assuming are meant to hit the dragon or the villain’s base. Nothing too fancy with the jail cell, since it’s a rectangle-shaped enclosure with a jail cell door.I can't put my finger on the exact reason, but I think it might be the use of the multiple contrasting bright colors at the same time as the new more detailed style. Castle Lego will always occupy a special place in my heart and when Lego announced that they were rebooting the Castle line this year, I was pretty excited to get my hands on some. There is a big wooden gate for the dragon cave and on the top, a black dragon head to scare possible attackers away. Mattew Thank you for the comment, I always use my Lion and Royal Knights as the same faction and when I get to doing a review on the royals (which is next) you will see me comment somewhat on that as well as some comprasion pictures. I truly hope that LEGO continue to add to this theme and give us other color Dragons like they have done in previous incarnations, and not end it with just this wave like they have done in the past.

I like the 2 gold prongs on its front, which I guess come in handy when you run out of things to fling at your enemy and just want to ram them head on. One question is that for this Expo I need to make a display box so do you have and idea of which picture I can print and glue as a back ground? It rolls around well on its four wheels but is prone to slipping at times because the wheels are kinda smooth.For all the shortcomings of the exterior, I’m glad that they paid quite a bit of attention to the interiors.
