The couple enjoyed a slow burn over months, which was so well done, and gave the story and their relationship so much more depth and meaning.The characters are very well developed and it was easy to get caught up in all of the drama that unfolded.

I think this is a winner all around with the multiple aspects of romance, family, suspense, and crime tension. As with every book I read I try and dig out the romance and dwell on it and this book had a perfect amount of romance and I was happy I at least got some of the Nora roberts romance.
