About this deal

I have used metal Nalgene bottles, canteen cups, other brands of metal conatiners, Billy pot(Zebra) and pans. The Bushbox XL is manufactured in Germany by Bushcraft Essentials a renowned manufacturer who makes several field kitchens of this type, in various materials and designs. The Bushbox XL Titanium Premium Set combines everything Bushcraft Essentials stands for: quality, excellent craftsmanship, high-quality materials and multifunctionality.

I think it helps preventing forestfires because the fire is contained, and at the same time it gives you the oppurtunity to enjoy watching and using a fire. Providing an efficient portable outdoor cooker that works perfectly with both solid fuels including wood and solid fuel or even your Trangia burner. Bushbox stoves are light and are characterized by minimal pack size, great versatility and high-quality workmanship. In my opinion if you can afford this one then go for it, the weight saving is noticeable but they are both very good stoves. For regular use, we recommend our Heavy Duty Outdoor Bag Bushbox XL or the matching Leather Pouch Bushbox XL.While carrying a certain romantic image, cooking food outdoors over open fire has up until recently been a rather inefficient method, requiring both a lot of firewood and a lot of work for preparing it. Bring one firewood with you to just put the flames to life and the local vegetation will suffice to keep the flames alive for the rest of your needs. the size of the stove is just right as i don’t need to maintain the fire so often as with smaller stoves .

This could be considered a good thing, and obviously a neccessary thing since the stove's purpose is to intensify and preserve wood and fire for as long as possible so obviouisly it needs to adapt to its content. They also say it' a fantastic wood stove, a brilliant piece of engineering, and an awesome complete kitchen in a pouch.By making the superbly designed XL in titanium, Bushcraft Essentials has overcome the weight problem by producing a "big" stove at around the 535g mark, including the necessary stowage bag.

Attached on top of the Bushbox XL it makes an excellent grill or provides a solid platform for smaller pots and cups. In conclusion I think it's probably the best hobo stove on the market, the services are great and the quality is superb. It's not going to win any awards from the lightweight fraternity, although I believe there is a titanium option.Assembling and disassembling the box is incredibly easy as you only really need to pull it apart and shake it to assemble it. I love the fact that it's hinges are all part of the panels and you know it's not going to fall to bits in a month or two, i see this stove being a life long companion. Apart from the weight the XL is an excellent product that would benefit from a second set of trivets as standard. I was concerned that there may be sharp edges and burred metal from the manufacturing process, but not so, just nice crisp edges. Users are able to find fuel anywhere outdoors including twigs, branches, leaves and dry dung as well as many other fuels like spirit burners, fuel cubes, wood pellets, charcoal etc.
