Sillage is above average as far as performance, and while I don't feel the projection is amazing, I have heard mixed comments. What's the most interesting and beautiful part is when patchouli starts to appear and somehow becomes the dominant note to me. Like so many people I grew up during the era when the original Acqua Di Gio was the uncontested KING, it was like a best friend and it carried me through the entirety of my 20's without fail.Has an old man incense smell on the drydown that doesn't smell good at all, dylan blue does the incense better.

Personally, when viewed on its own and not tainted by the thought of the original ADG Profumo, I think it's great. But the thing is, ive smelt this on people, and everytime it smells heavenly, but idk guys, cant get past how it smells on me/on clothes. Having fell in love with the original blend of Profumo, I had to get my nose on this Special Blend version. I have had most success in the office areas as far as compliments, but it is not the compliment monster that many hold it up to be.I was ready to regret purchasing this Special Blend, but instead I'm impressed by the quality of this overall aquatic patchouli fragrance.

A few hours later in the Car, this one was the only one that kept its character and filled my car with its scent and shout its presence.
