Great retinol product I have received neutrogina retinol boost from home tester club to try i have been using it for 6 weeks now. This is fragrance free but did leave a smell like fake tan after applying I only used this in the evening as I prefer using products with spf during the day. I’ve been using this cream for 4 weeks now and after the initial dry skin after the first week I have seen great results since using it.
When I actually did what I was supposed to, it renewed the skin at a slower rate and that’s when I saw improvement. Good results I have started to notice fine lines around my eyes recently so this product test came a good time for me. I do use retinol however I still did not use this serum every day at first, it is always best to build up a tolerance. The cream absorbs into the skin very quickly without leaving a sticky residue, perfect for for overnight. I introduced the Neutrogena Retinol by using the serum 2x the first week then 3x a week onwards during nights rather than daily. I've tested this boost for 4 weeks, I don't have sensitive skin but as expected my skin initially reacted with some redness to the new product. It is perfume free which means you get a slight chemical hint but it isn't overpowering and doesn't change the user experience. As this was my first time using it I followed the instructions and initially used it every other day until I developed a tolerance. So in the morning you wake up with so glowing skin that usually alot of other expensive brands can`t achieve.

Just needing 3 dots under the eye area and gently patting the cream on once a day has noticeably firmed up and smoothed my skin tone . I thought this cream was brilliant, it applied so smoothly and soaked in well, leaving no greasy residue. Perfect retinol for fine lines I loved this retinol and have really noticed a difference in my skin since having used this 5-6 per week for a few weeks. Intensely nourishes skin overnight + prevents and corrects multiple visible signs of ageing, even deep wrinkles.
It is easy to apply, with a small amount you can spread it without problem and it gives your skin shine. If effects persist/cause discomfort, reduce the frequency of use until your skin adjusts, then revert to daily use as tolerated. I wouldn't recommend this product for people who have never used retinol before as it may be too much for their skin, particularly as it is an Intense serum. Once dry, I followed up with an anti-redness moisturiser as retinol can cause redness and irritation.
