The whole scent becomes smoother, warmer and a little more powdery, to some extent that I thought there might be some vanilla or tonka bean in it. The person that recommended it to me was close to my age (late 40’s) but the person I actually bought it from was in her early 20’s and she told me I was making a great choice. You'll feel crisp and fresh wearing this and will be able to enjoy it throughout the day even if you're not intruding the space of those around. No, this is now the sort of thing I need to think about to restrain from choking myself out and others around me from over doing it.

As it dries down , pepper and orange part ways and it just becomes a clean woody (vetiver) and slightly smoky (incense) scent. What might smell “old-school” to me might be newly discovered by a younger nose who never grew up with an older generation. However due to this shortfall in performance, I feel this fragrance is well suited for formal events if you want to appear elegant in a subtle way. I got one of those Sephora tester things where you get a bunch of samples and get to pick a full bottle of one.It is a bit too rich for super hot summer days, and it is a bit too vibrant and airy for the frigid cold winter. I mean an overdose of it and I didn’t remember seeing it in the breakdown but it’s because it’s one of those tiny blocks up there that people don’t notice apparently. It's blended so well and smooth: it's difficult for me to pick out one note overpowering the others.
