This glorious full bodied rum from El Dorado was launched in late 2002 and has been aged for 21 years. In 1999 the merger of ae remaining estates and distillerys left only Demerara Distillers Ltd and they continue to produce rum today.

Rum started to be produced in Demerara County, Guyana, as early as the 1640s after the land was reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean by Dutch engineers.
