I'm really expecting NECA to put out a second version with a few new portraits and some of those missing extras: The Necronomicon/ Naturom Demonto, the dagger, the shovel, and the axe from the film. I'm excited because my daughter is really only a year or two away from being able to watch Army of Darkness (it's pretty tame and any violence and what not is overly comedic).I don't think that's really possible, though, so it's weird for NECA to include accessories for that pose, use that pose on the box, but then not ensure that the figure can take that pose. The jacket itself is yellowed and filthy, like it’s been drenched in piss and OH MY GOD, I JUST REMINDED MYSELF OF THE SCENE WITH KELLY AND THE BEDPAN. I don’t have nearly as much to say about this guy, as he is a pretty simple figure, but that’s not to say he’s not good. We're just a few days away from Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which will absolutely feature a Bruce Campbell cameo, so let's celebrate the duo's original masterpiece with a look at NECA's Ultimate Ash Williams from The Evil Dead.

And I’m really glad they snuck this version in before the end of the series, because it represents what I consider to be two really standout episodes.In the case of Asylum Ash, you get a really nice portrait with Ash smirking and another with a more grim, downturned mouth. It actually comes from this promotional shot where Bruce Campbell is clearly a bit older and has a different hairstyle. There's a nice bit of texturing on his shirt and pants that should satisfy anyone dedicated to film accuracy. I couldn't tell you what Ash's shoes looked like in the first movie off hand but this seems to be a pretty good replica of them as far as I can tell.

One of my pet peeves for lines like this is sometimes you just get a bunch of versions of the hero and no one for them to fight.Since the law of July 1, 2021, we must charge VAT according to the country of destination of the goods. In addition to the chainsaw arm and extra head, Ash comes with his trusty Boomstick, and yup, it’s the same one that came with Hero Ash.

The detail here is every bit as good as I expect from NECA, even when they’re turning out another version of Ash and in a one-off outfit to boot. I'm sure you can find a single bladed axe, or perhaps NECA will release an alternate version of this Ash. They mention that it is a great figure with an amazing likeness and comes complete with all his interchangeable weapons.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged (Not including Sensitive or LED/Electronic Products). Sam and Bruce are executive producers, so that's good, but I'm not sure how (or if) it'll connect to anything else.
