About this deal

Unless of course you go for one of the very clever “in-between” machines from Sage, which are traditional portafilter espresso machines which deliver true espresso but do it with clever assistance and/or guidance (depending on which specific machine, as they do a few like this now). Specify the day on which we can schedule the collection, and please provide a minimum notice of two working days.

Once you're done frothing, give the jug a knock to pop any bigger bubbles (you may want to cover the jug with your hand to stop milk foam from splashing all over the place) swirl the milk for a few seconds to polish the surface (you may actually see it going glossier when you're swirling), then pour. To be fair, it's better to only put coffee in the hopper that you're about to use, anyway, you don't really want beans sitting in a bean hopper all day, seal or no seal.

There are seven pre-sets included if you want a quick drink, including espresso, caffe lungo, cappuccino and latte macchiato, but there are also a variety of options for adjusting the coffee strength and taste if you want more control. For example, if you want true double shots, all the Gaggia bean to cup machines will do this, but most DeLonghi machines won't. The stainless steel frontal panel, inspired by Italian design and craftsmanship, makes Brera perfect for both traditional and modern kitchens. They're similar to Delonghi in this regard, from my testing, Delonghi machines have more settings but they don't have a bigger range, it's just that they have half steps, so finer adjustment, which really doesn't matter for bean to cup machines anyway.

Coffee machine with a steam wand: make sure to regularly remove the steam wand, disassemble it and let it soak in the mixture for a while/wash it using the mixture. True double shots: Press any of the buttons twice, and you'll get double the volume from double the dose. It dispenses steam to prepare gorgeous cappuccinos, latte macchiato and more, or hot water if you prefer teas. As always if you have any product queries please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll be able to help.Like modern machines, his design produced espresso by forcing high pressure water over ground beans. The Anima is ideal for home baristas who are looking to show off their skills, but also looking for the convenience of an automatic espresso machine. I'm not saying there aren't valid reasons to spend more if you want to, there are, but if your main focus is cup quality, you don't need to go beyond the Brera in Gaggia's range, and the only machine that I really think will give you better espresso where Gaggia bean to cup machines are concerned, is the Accademia. It’s born out of deep passion for espresso and a sincere desire to make high-quality coffee available to everyone.

This is a feature shared with all the Gaggia bean to cup machines, it's really clever, and it's not something you'll find with all machines. It's true to say that some other bean to cup machines share some of the pros of the Brera, but there aren't many that share all of these pros. The steam with the Brera is actually ready slightly quicker than the Gaggia Classic (which has a small traditional boiler) and the steam power is very similar too. With the Anima for example, as well as the standard panarello wand version, there's the Prestige (one touch milk carafe), Deluxe (cappuccinatore/capp in cup) and the Barista Plus (pro steam wand). The 100% ceramic grinders extract the purest essence from your coffee beans by preventing overheating and burning. The warranty does not cover for the losses consequent in nature, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of business. With its Italian pedigree - the company's founder was the first to invent the steamless coffee maker - and reputation for stylish design, Gaggia is a popular manufacturer of coffee machines.

At one time I used to think water tank size is important, these days though I've come to the conclusion that we really shouldn't be leaving water in a tank for days, anyway. I always pull double shots, and my preferred dose is 18g, so I have the Anima set to the 3 bean setting, for 9g. Imagine you have an audio track, putting it through a great great quality amplifier would hopefully give you a great quality louder version of that track without loss in audio quality. The coffee beans container of Anima preserves the coffee aroma in an even better way thanks to its special lid.Check out the photo on the left, this is latte art I poured using milk I steamed using the Anima, so it's very capable of great microfoam. But the great thing about the Brera, and other Gaggia bean to cup coffee machines, is that you can very easily slide the Panarello off, to reveal either the rubber nozzle or the metal steam pipe, which works far better as a steam wand, with a bit of practice. The heart of the machine, it doses and tamps the right amount of ground coffee for all your espressos.
