About this deal

Permanently fails to function during overload or short-circuit presenting no danger to the user or surroundings. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. If you go for the Byron, then the sparky is likely to put the Byron transformer in to the Consumer Unit, which would mean when you switch to the Pro2 you would have to open up the consumer unit itself to switch transformers.

I was hoping to avoid using a standard UK mains socket to connect to the Ring as I thought it'd look more ugly. Will the Honeywell Ding Dong 117 work with the Doorbell Wired when powered by the DIN Rail Transformer (2nd Gen), or should I be using a different chime in the UK?Hardwire compatible Ring Video Doorbells using your existing doorbell wiring, for non-stop power and protection.

I’ve bought a Ring Video Doorbell Wired, the transformer for my current doorbell is only 6VA, 6V, 50HZ. Probably better to get a bellbox, where the transformer is separate, that way you can switch the transformer at the consumer unit (mines in the garage). We are one of the largest independent electrical wholesalers in the West Midlands, with distribution centres in Leicester, London, Manchester and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
