About this deal
This was a little bit 'different'. We've loved Shireen's picture books (all of them) and saw her name on this and wanted to try a book for the older ages.
Nadia Shireen has won awards for her picture books including the UKLA Book Award for Good Little Wolf, and her latest, Barbara Throws a Wobbler, has been described as a ‘little doorway of joy’ by Caitlin Moran. She’s also been shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize and the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, and has been Writer-Illustrator in Residence for BookTrust. Grimwood is her first series for older readers. Grimwood is where I want to be. A carnival of crazed confused comical critters that is more real than real life. Lots of things make me laugh but Grimwood makes me laugh out loudest.' ― Frank Cottrell-Boyce Fully illustrated throughout and full of heart, laughs and surprises, this is the must-read second title in the bestselling and fantastically funny Grimwood series.Laugh your head off with this fully illustrated new series, adapted for audio, from award-winning Nadia Shireen. Perfect for listeners age seven to 107, fans of Dog Man, Roald Dahl, Mr Gum and David Walliams, and anyone who loves to laugh. Los personajes son divertidos, carismáticos y mi favorito ha sido Ted por su parte tierna. Nancy, su hermana, tiene la responsabilidad de cuidarlo y protegerlo y en ocasiones resulta muy protectora con Ted. Perfect for readers age 7+, and fans of Dog Man, Roald Dahl, David Walliams, Loki, Bunny vs Monkey and anyone who likes to laugh.
También es cierto que la historia no se anda con tonterías y si tienen que acabar con alguien que quiere hacerles daño va a por todas.
