About this deal

Then bought another RC car, and since i figured i would sell the previous one on, i moved the Rx to the new car. First run out with the new car, crappy range again. Trigger and wheel feel is smooth and precise with little to no play. It is sturdy yet light in the hand even with batteries in and at no point has it ever felt like a burden. Ergonomics are fine even for a weirdo like me that is right handed yet holds a wheel transmitter like a leftie. Once binding is complete the transmitter will exit bind mode. Remove the power and bind cable from the This has caused me enough trouble now, so i'm looking to move on to something else. i know plenty have had no issues with the flysky, but i'm not doing anything out of the ordinary here.

FLYSKV is specially developed for all radio controlled models. Offering superior protection against interference Im leaning towards the futaba 3pv at the moment. Futaba do a 2 channel reciever for 25 quid which seems like a fair price. Its not on the compatability chart, which is annoying, but it seems like it should work with the 3pv. Bought a used 1/8th buggy, came with Flysky FS-GT3C transmitter, with the flysky reciever. It also came with the FS-GT3B transmitter and another receiver, which seems largely the same except for 8xAAs vs 1S lipo. All seemed well at first. Had i have come on here asking if the flysky gt3-c is any good. A load of people would be saying how great they are and that they havent had any issues. And quite rightly so.Return transmitter settings to factory default. Note: This will delete all model data and settings. With 20 model memory, crawling mode, SVC mode and the extra functions you expect from a modern radio, the FS-GT5 is all the radio you will ever need for all your surface models.

As I alluded to above the user interface is very fully featured and is simple use, my instructions have never been touched. See the images below on how I set up new models, takes less than 5 minutes. The menus are daunting to setup but the customisation is great and once it's done you don't even think about it. I've been looking for a budget controller with a momentary switch for a handbrake because neither the DumboRC X6 nor the FS-GT5 has this function. This is a pretty boring section for good reason - it does what you'd expect. For range I practically get about as far as I can see my big 1/10 scale DHK Hunter SCT which is probably about 200m. So far as I know I've never has a failsafe. The only way I could really push range is by setting a car up for FPV but then you are starting to get into a niche application. So in summary, for line of sight operation as we do, range is perfectly acceptable. For what it's worth I ran this same protocol in my quads and had an easy 500m range. I forgot to mention the antenna can flip up if you need extra range but since I've never gone out of range I don't really have a need. Please take a moment to read this. The drift function, called SVC in the radio, allows you to operate the car with a gyro assisting the steering servo, this aids in counter steering by smoothing out the movement of the steering servo, it makes holding a long drift extremely easy. It can also be used to settle down the steering in 2WD rear wheel cars such as F1 racing cars or rear wheel tourers.
