About this deal

I pulled out the o-rings and kind of wiped them with the solution a few times and let it soak in a little bit and put them back in.

I sprayed most of the rubber seals I came across, I can tell that some squeaking noise disappeared all together. AT-205 Re-Seal additive from ATP stops seal leaks in your engine, transmission, differential, and hydraulic systems (except for the brakes). Thanks for your reply - that's the answer I was hoping to hear, as I'm considering using this product to address the modest leak I have on the alternator bracket gasket/o-ring, until such time as I can undertake a permanent fix. I did have some drips under my pan but last week I switched to high mileage oil, so that may help with the leaking.

In addition I sprayed some of the rubber hoses and seals with ATP 205, Apparently it adds life to it by reconditioning dried hoses and seals (rubber only - no gasket) it is said that will not damage gaskets, but if they are not rubber it will not be of any benefit (stating the obvious). I particularly love the aroma of burning transfer case fluid being blown in my face when I turn on the CC system.

Guess you already took care of your problem but I was reading from a mechanic if one bottle doesn't do the trick, add another bottle to the next oil change. I want to put a little in the oil and trans fluid, and maybe the transfer case and differential if I had more but I only have one bottle. You don't have to drive it for 5 straight hours but I would say that 15 minutes at minimum is reasonable. Some seals start leaking due to damage that can't be fixed whether it was just a less than perfect seal, perhaps the vehicle doesn't get driven enough to keep the seals pliable, etc. Since this car has around 80TKm on it and never saw extended oil change intervals I suspect one or two of the oil brands I used shrank the seals.
